SBYB Bulk API Integration

If you use the SBYB Bulk API as part of your bulk operation, Scoutly integrates the SBYB Bulk API to add SBYB-eligible books to the SBYB cart automatically.

Setup

1. From the Scoutly app, tap Menu -> SBYB Bulk Settings.
2. Enable “Use SBYB Bulk API”.
3. Enter your email address that is approved by the SBYB Bulk API program.
4. Enable the Auto Add option. This will allow Scoutly to add books to your SBYB cart automatically.
5. Set percentage. The default is if SBYB offers more than 70% of the lowest FBM profit, the book will be added to the SBYB cart. You can change it.
6. Tap the Back arrow to save your settings and exit this screen.
   

Scan

When you scan a book, Scoutly will call SBYB Bulk API as part of the operation. If the SBYB offers a higher profit than the lowest FBM profit based on your settings, it will show SBYB Bulk to indicate this book has been added to the cart automatically.

Checkout

1. Tap Menu -> Buyback Cart.
2. Tap the SBYB tab.
3. Review the total number of books and payout.
4. Tap the Checkout button.
5. Scoutly app will contact SBYB to add your books to the SBYB Bulk shipment.
6. If it is successful, those books will be removed from your cart. If not, the books that SBYB does not buy will remain in the cart. You can tap the Delete button to remove them or leave them in the cart to try at a later time.
7. Follow the SBYB site to print out the shipping label.
   
   

Troubleshoot

1. If there is a timeout error during scan or checkout, please turn off your router and turn it on after 1 minute. If you still have the same issue, try to use your cell phone as a hotspot.
