Install Scoutly without Google Play Store (Install APK File)

If you want to install Scoutly without the Google Play store (restore to an older version or install a beta version), please follow the steps below.

1. Download the APK (Android installer file for Scoutly) to your computer or phone (1).

2. If you download to your computer, connect the Android device to your computer, and select the File Transfer option, so your computer can see your Android device as a folder (2). Copy the APK file from your computer to the Android device Download folder (3). You can also put the APK file in DropBox, then send the DropBox link in an Email. You can tap the link from your Email app on your Android phone to download the APK file to your phone’s Download folder.

3. On your Android device, find a File management app (5). Open that app, and navigate to your download folder (6). Find the APK file and tap on it (7). It will install the Scoutly app on your phone without the Google Play store.
