Use Holding Bin to Reduce Split Shipments

Amazon’s new FBA inbound shipment policy requires the sellers to accept or reject all shipments within a shipment plan. TurboLister has a very unique feature called Holding Bin to still let sellers reduce split shipments while still conforming to the Amazon new inbound FBA shipment policy. Please follow the steps below to learn how to use Holding Bin to reduce your split shipments.

1. After you finish adding your items (we recommend you add as many as possible), navigate to Ship screen. TurboLister will call Amazon to assign one or more warehouses (shipments) for your items. After it is done, click Preview Shipments (1) to review your shipments.

2. From the list, there are 2 warehouses (DFW7, MDW7) with few items. You do not want to create shipments to these 2 warehouses. You can click on DFW7 (2), select (3) all of the items going to DFW7, and click Holding Bin (4). This will move the items going to DFW7 to the holding bin. After this TurboLister will call Amazon to acquire a new shipment plan for your remaining items.

3. Now you have 2 warehouses (CLT2, MDW7) to ship to. Repeat step 2 to move items going to MDW7 (5) to the holding bin.

4. After you move items going to MDW7 to the holding bin, TurboLister will call Amazon again to acquire a new shipment plan for your remaining items. If you are lucky, your remaining items will go to one warehouse, CLT2 (6) and the holding bin holds your items (7) going to DFW7 and MDW7. You can add those to your next batch, and hopefully, with a bit of better luck, they will go to the same warehouse.
