FBA_INB_0042
Amazon is telling you that you can no longer send inventory for this product under the current listing.
Code: FBA_INB_0042
Message:
This product must be removed. You can send in new inventory by creating a new listing for this product.
Resource: ’4372-999-1M-2025-04-07’ (likely your internal SKU)
Operation ID: For Amazon reference: 4b0e245c-bc0c-4d09-baa8-0934320d1471
What This Means
Amazon has deactivated the existing FBA listing for that product, and any inbound shipment attempts tied to that specific listing (MSKU) will fail.
This happens when:
The ASIN was flagged or suppressed by Amazon
You created a conflicted or corrupted MSKU (e.g., with wrong data or violations)
You had past issues with that exact SKU (like stranded inventory or LTSF avoidance)
Fix (Step-by-Step)
- Step 1: Delete the Existing Listing in Seller Central
Log in to Seller Central
Go to Inventory > Manage FBA Inventory
Search for the item by SKU or title
Click the dropdown next to Edit
Select Delete product and listing
This clears Amazon’s internal block on that listing
*_. Step 2: Recreate the Listing with a New MSKU
Go back to TurboLister > List screen
Select the same item
Change either:
The SKU Prefix, or
The SKU Suffix
Example: From: 4372-999-1M-2025-04-07
To: 4372-999-1M-2025-04-07-RE1
Save it and relist the item. Amazon will treat this as a new product entry, bypassing the restriction on the old listing
*_. Step 3: Create a New Inbound Plan
Go to the Box screen
Assign the item to a box again (with the new MSKU)
Click Ship
If all goes well, the shipment should now go through.
